Pulse Tribute

A Day of Love and Kindness

The City of Orlando and Orange County Government, in collaboration with Pulse, have designated June 12, 2017, as "Orlando United Day - A Day of Love and Kindness.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, along with many organizations in our community, is part of the Act, Love, Give movement. The movement encourages our community and people around the world to honor those who were affected by the Pulse Nightclub tragedy.

This evening, over 100 volunteers will help sort 49,000 pounds of cucumbers that will go out into our community to help our neighbors in need. Throughout the evening, we will also be sharing stories of love and kindness through Facebook Live.

In honor of the pulse tragedy, Canstruction Orlando put together a specially-themed canned food structure. This structure will provide 1,325 meals for our neighbors in need.

Special thanks to: Bulla Gastrobar, Canstruction Orlando and the Central Florida Community Arts Chorus

Thank you for being part of Orlando United Day and making a difference for kids, families, and seniors.
