One of the innovative ways we’re doing this is through our Darden Foundation Community Kitchen – a 2,000-square-foot commercial kitchen space designed as an integral part of Second Harvest’s holistic approach to fighting hunger and poverty.
In addition, we work closely with local growers and farmers to gather and transform surplus produce. The donated product is cooked, flash frozen, and ready to nourish those in need. We also offer Guest Chef Night Dinners featuring local and celebrity chefs.
